What's a fun way to repurpose household items into toys or crafts?
toilet paper rolls and egg cartons can be made into so many different art projects. we always keep a stash for a rainy day. Having a box of scraps of fabrics, feathers, lids, etc. is a great way to have some extra supplies that can be used any time. I have many repurposed craft projects on my blog like CD dreamcatchers, milk jug whales, toilet paper roll trees, egg crate animals, bubble wrap trees, puzzle piece wreaths and much more.
Do you know any great children's books that teach kids about being eco-friendly?
"Big Earth, Little Me" is a great book that teaches about what children can do to help. There is also a fun book and cd by Barefoot books called "We've got the Whole World in our Hands"

What's an easy, eco-friendly habit that could help families save money?
With the school year starting up we try to instill in our children that we can use and consume less. We use cloth napkins, re-usable snack and sandwich wraps, and stainless steel water bottles. We also make sure that we don't throw away utensils and instead bring them home and use them again. This helps us save money in the end by not having to buy wasteful plastic bags, utensils, paper bags, and juice boxes for lunch.

What's a great cleaning product you've discovered?
I use Green Irene Enzyme cleaners. I have been using them for over a year now and I love them. They have a unique refill packet system so that you use the same bottle over and over again creating less waste. The enzymes do a really good job breaking down dirt and grime. My favorite is the Glass and Stainless Cleaner.
