What advice would you give to moms who are struggling with PPD?

Don't give up. This is a hard road to travel but there is an end. You will be happy again. You will smile again. And please know that you are definitely not alone. There are other people out there going through what you are going through. Get out and meet them in a support group. Don't let yourself sit in your home alone. You can get through this, but remember no man is an island.

When you're struggling with a physical or mental illness, how do you keep up with all the demands of motherhood?

Take things one moment at a time. Sometimes, if need be, even one second at a time. If you think about all the things that need to be done (feeding kids, changing diapers, laundry, dishes, food shopping etc), you can get overwhelmed so easily.

Motherhood is not an easy job, but it can be done. You can get through each day. Just keep one thing in your mind at a time.

What's a mood booster that helps you get through a bad day?

Music. Blog hopping.

Music is just a huge mood booster for me. I listen to Stereo Hearts, Moves like Jagger and any other song that makes me wanna dance.

With blog hopping I just go through my favorites. Those people that make me laugh. Those people that make me remember life is livable.
