I make my family bean tostadas which are fashioned after the ones I had in the small Mexican restaurants growing up in Texas. I top fried corn tortillas with beans, lots of veggies a little cheese and a mountain of fresh, homemade salsa. They are just so yummy!

I use my slow cooker to make flavorful protein-rich stock. Instead of heating up the whole house making stock stove-top; I throw a few veggies, herbs and leftover bits from my roast chicken before bed and wake up the next morning to perfect stock. Its the best way to make chicken stock, especially during the hot summer months!

My 4YO was almost there, but when we chucked the diapers he was still bed wetting some. We've started "dream pees" or bringing him to the bathroom right before my hubby and I go to sleep about 11. He pees, then goes back to bed and sleeps without an accident all night. He never even fully wakes up, and says he doesn't remember it at all the next day. It's made a huge difference for us!
