What's the best part of raising a family in SoCal?

I am originally from the East Coast so weather is a big deal for us. The copious amount of sunshine gives us more opportunity to spend time outdoors together. You'll often find us at a park, beach, outdoor concert, beach, drive in movie or on a road trip to explore a new part of the state we haven't seen yet!

What's a great destination for a family vacation in SoCal?

This is so hard to answer! We love spending time at Disneyland. Living 25 miles away from the theme park is a dream come true for this die-hard Disney fan. We also enjoy Palm Springs in the winter. The weather is warm but we love to take the Aerial Tramway to San Jacinto Peak and play in the snow! I live in Hollywood and it's the perfect spot for film lovers. Visitors and locals can explore Studio Tours, The Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Sign. But my favorite destination spot in SoCal is San Diego. The pace is relaxed and San Diego has some of the world's best beaches. Miles of gorgeous sand is the best place to watch the sunset. There is an endless amount of family offerings around the area. Sea World, Legoland and the San Diego Zoo are just a few! Plus, there is rich history to explore in the area as well places like Seaside Village to shop!

What do your kids love most about living in SoCal?

My almost 6-year-old daughter loves the beach. In her words, "I love playing in the ocean, making giant sandcastles with my dad, collecting sea shells and using them as decorations on my castles". She's the ultimate California beach kid with long blonde hair with bucket and pail in hand searching for sand crabs and sea shells. She also wants me to tell you that she loves Legoland and Disneyland.
