What's the best part of raising a family in NorCal?

So much to love about being here! Of course gorgeous weather, the beautiful ocean, redwoods, mountains, and farm land (nothing like fresh produce you can go pick yourself or get at the local farmers markets!). There's a strong emphasis on caring for our environment and also preserving the arts, education, and helping our community members through small businesses. Also, we live in a safe, supportive community with many wonderful educational programs open to my kids so near by; aquariums, nature programs, and more. Love it here!

What's the biggest misconception about living in NorCal?

That it's snobby or just like southern Cal, big cities full of celebrities and the super rich. It's small towns, eclectic people, lots of state parks, clear skies (no smog); not much like southern Cal in my opinion!

What do your kids love most about living in NorCal?

Exploring nature! They love playing in the sand, camping in the woods, and learning about our local wildlife.

Do your kids have a favorite non-violent video game that you'd recommend to other parents? Please share a link to the product an tell us why you AND your kids love it.
