For my daughter's 7th birthday, which she celebrated in school, I made a pink princess castle cake. The hardest part was figuring out how to safely transport it on the school bus. The chocolate cake base was made in a foil pan, the pink frosting was kept in a recycled humus tub (with a tight-fitting lid) and ice cream cone towers stayed safe in their box until after the journey. If you prefer your livingroom to look like it's for grown-ups, how do you keep your kids' toys under wraps? Please share a link to a photo and tell us where in the living room the toys are hiding!

They have two bedrooms and I have one living room. Toys stay in their rooms. Period. Books are allowed everywhere.

What's a great, freezable dish to bring to a new mom? Please share a link to your recipe.

My favorite dish to bring (and to receive after birth!) is actually a giant bowl of salad. While most people are bringing pasta and starchy foods, a new mom usually needs the extra fiber of a salad while her intestines are falling back into place and hemorrhoids are flaring up from all that pushing...and she can't very well stand in the kitchen to chop one up herself.

After the long, rainy winters in Israel, we like to get out into nature. There are so many fascinating historical sites and nature reserves...it's hard to pick which ones to visit.
