Create a nest with your kids "hatching" out of egg shells. First, clean and dry out some cracked egg shells, saving both sides of the eggs. Next, get a small head shot picture of your child and place it in the bottom part of the egg. Then gently place the top egg shell on the top half of the picture so it looks like your child is hatching from the egg. I placed the eggs into a Easter basket filled with Easter grass and placed it on our table for our decoration this year. For literally up to a half hour of entertainment and laughter for free with my kids I do something I like to call the one man show. My first two fingers become little legs and they dance around, climb my kids' faces, stand on their noses and make the little guy say "I'm on a mountain", and lots of other silly things. My kids love it, it's free and they can make their own two legged little man with their fingers too. They come up with lots of funny things for their one man show to do and say. Imagination can provide so much more interest than any toy you can buy.
