Why eat those super cute Peeps when you could be decorating with them! All you need are a few boxes of colorful Peeps, toothpicks and a straw wreath. Younger kids can help you with color sorting while older kids can make one on their own!

Do you have a recipe for a useful homemade cleaning product (detergent, soap, or other product)?

Vanessa

I am absolutely addicted to homemade citrus cleaner (which is just a fancy name for citrus infused vinegar and water)! I have more detailed instructions on how to make it on my blog, Tried & True, but essentially, all you have to do is soak orange rinds in vinegar for a couple weeks until the vinegar has a great orange tint to it and smells very orange-y. To use, you just mix it 50/50 with water or use directly on really tough grime. I'm addicted to this stuff!

Can you suggest a fun summer activity like berry picking that helps kids learn where food comes from? Please link to a picture we can use if you have one.

I know this so basic but making butter is a super fun activity to do with kids! They learn about working hard for your food and you get homemade butter! http://www.gerberadesigns.com/triedandtrue/?p=1850
