I call my twins Mark and Molly my little M&Ms. So they were a huge hit last year as green and red M&Ms. I made the costumes myself and the total cost was $10! That's a great price and pretty good from someone who cannot sew. I used my trusty glue gun to make them!What is your best tip for not losing your temper with children?

I've put myself in timeout a few times. It allows me to calm down before I have to deal with them. And yes I put myself in timeout spot too. The kids leave me alone for a few minutes and I can regroup before I deal with them.Do you think the government should pay stay-at-home moms for their work of raising children and managing a household?

No way! It's my choice to be a stay at home mom and it's not up to the government to help me financially. And quite frankly, that's not what the government is for. When you make the choice to stay home, you need to also make the choice to live at a lower level. I don't want the government to have a say in staying at home. Plus. taxpayers are going to foot the bill and we can't afford the bills we already have.What's your kids' favorite backyard game?

My kids love it when I make soap paint. You just mix a little food coloring and corn starch into liquid dish soap and you have paint. They love to paint the door and all their toys. I love that they clean everything for me. I hose it all down when they're done. I haven't had to wash my glass doors for months since they clean it for me.What's the best gear for playing outside? My daughter was a flower girl last fall at the ripe old age of three. I brought tons of snacks and some coloring books to keep her happy before the wedding and during the reception. I knew she wouldn't be able to wait for the buffet line to get going for dinner, and once a toddler is hungry they are very hard to keep quiet and still. Once the dancing started, she hit the dance floor and the photo booth for hours and it wasn't an issue.What's your family's favorite board game, and why? (Please mention the best ages for the game)

I was excited to take my oldest to preschool. Since I had 1 year old twins at home, I was looking forward to the break that I would get. I was so proud of my daughter since she walked right in and didn't even flinch when we left. She loved school from the first day! The biggest mess? Man that is a tough one! My kids make some big messes and they get into things faster than I can blink. But I think the best worst mess that they have ever made was when they dumped a 5 lb bag of white sugar and a 2 lb bag of brown sugar all over the floor. I was so mad, but clear headed enough to take pictures of the mess.What's your family's favorite nostalgic, silly, or practical holiday tradition? Our favorite Christmas tradition is getting dressed in pjs and loading up in the car with some hot chocolate. Then we drive around and look at Christmas lights. I transformed my daughters nursery into a big girl butterfly room. I loved changing the room from pink to purple and making it into a place where they can play. And the hand painted butterflies are the perfect and cheap addition to the room.|
