What Inspired Me to Start Blogging
I have flirted with blogging throughout the years, mostly as a part of my travels. When I spent a couple of years in SE Asia, blogging was a way to keep my loved ones updated. The blog fell by the wayside when I returned to Canada and settled down, and I never really gave it much of a thought. But then I got a big fat plus sign on a pregnancy test, and I realized I was starting on another journey, this time to unknown territory! I started Up Mommy Creek because I wanted a way to express how I was feeling, and to document the crazy road I was traveling on. I figured I couldn’t be the only first-time mommy without a clue, and thought perhaps my experiences would be helpful to others, and those who were more experienced could share with me. This is definitely the most rewarding and interesting experience I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to see how it will turn out!
