Mum of two preschoolers living in New Zealand writing about stuff, things and whatnot - but mostly about the funny side of parenting.

What's the funniest thing your child has ever done or said?

What always makes you laugh?

What's the funniest gift you've ever received?

What's on your bucket list of things to do with your kids this summer?

Sue

It's actually Winter over here in New Zealand now, but one of the things my kids love doing is going to the river and throwing rocks in the water. We have competitions to see who can make the biggest splash. I love how such a simple activity brings them so much pleasure. When we're ready to go we collect rocks to take home and paint. We tend to have the most fun doing things that don't cost anything.

What's a great finger food that your kids love? Please include a link.

Sue

My son seems to be a bottomless pit for food, so I started making fruity scotch hotcakes. He's always been a fussy eater and refused to eat fruit, so I started adding it to the hotcakes. He absolutely loves these, and because they're low GI, he keeps going for longer before hassling me for more food.
