I am learning how to blend life and work, forget trying to balance them! HI My name is Niki and I am mom to 2 boys, 10 and 6. They are the inspiration for my new book,Pink is Just a Color and so si Blue about gender stereotypes related to gender specific toys and colors. The message of the book is that toys are meant for exploring and learning about the bigger world so why differentiate between boy toys and girls toys.

I have A Blog Hi , Im JoAnna, I have had a passion for cooking for as long as i can remember. I loved reading mom blogs way before I ever tried to write one! I love the community, and it is so nice to be able to reach out for parenting tips and tricks and sometimes just hear that your kids aren't the only ones who do some of the stuff that kids do : ) Loved your blog, and I hope like mine!

Hi! I read your blog, I also have 6 kids, Two are my older step-sons (22 and 19). and I have a blog about, well, being a step-mom, https://stepmotherhood.wordpress.com and the other four are my younger ones (10, 7 1/2, 5 (in a couple weeks), and 2 1/2), my blog for that part of my life is: https://lifeinthemotherhood.wordpress.com/

My soon-to-be 5 year old has many food allergies, and I have actually wondered if he has aspergers. I know all kids develop differently, and I don't want all my kids to be the same, but I'm his mom, and I know he is "different" from the other kids in a different way, but he is my squishy and I wouldn't trade him for anything!

Oh, and I have homeschooled all of them (the other two not as much, because my 2 year old, is a a 2 year old, and my 5 year old just has a hard time holding his interest, but with homeschool, I have time!) My two step-sons I each homeschooled for a semester when they had gotten themselves into trouble (at separate times...my step-motherhood blog explains some of those things)

Anyway, I look forward to reading your blog, and I hope you enjoy mine!
