I recently wrote a post that I'm pretty proud of that answers the question - Are SAHMs lazy? I'd love for any of you blogging mommas to read it.

i'm a sahm. i think some moms are lazy regardless of staying home or working outside of the home. my sister's friend is a sahm. she doesn't take care of her children. she puts their diapers in the ceiling tiles because she's too lazy to throw them away. i think that sahm get a bad rep because people assume all we do i sit and watch tv all day. i'm busy all day with my almost four month old son. i do everything so my bf can be comfortable and happy when he comes home. as they say a mother's job is never done.

Hi, I left a comment on your blog - loved your post BTW. Lazy people ARE lazy whatever job they do.

Here's a link to a post I wrote last year: "Confessions of a Lazy Mother"

Have a read, have a laugh, let me know what you think of that!

Luv Simone

Absolutely loved your blog. I'm a stay at home but I work from home also so I feel like I have 2 full time jobs on any given day. It's so great to read other mom's perspectives on things. My blog is jlentz15.blogspot.com Mine is short, sweet, and I like to take a more humorous approach. Check it out if you have a chance.

Did you read her blog? I did and it says the oppisite that stay at home moms do a lot of things other mom's cant and are in no way lazy. Thank you Kimberly for that by the way. Stay at home moms do occasionally need valitation. I've started Volunterring at a local small bussiness and My husband had to change his work schedule in order for someone to be home when our older kids get home from school. It has really made him understand what I do everyday. HOWEVER my husband was a single father for a few years so he was already aware of how hard a job being a SAHM is. Im luckly to have someone so understanding.

Why is it that we as women think we should tear each other down just because our choices are different? Isn't it obvious that we have different families and need to make different choices! I'm a Substitute Teacher, because I have an Autistic child and need my work hours to be the same as his school hours, but I've been a fulltime SaHM and trust me the watching tv, eating bonbons thing never happened for me! SaHM does not in any way = LAZY!!!!!
