Just thought I would share this... I have had an 'at home day' today, and will have to explain to my boyfriend when he gets home where all the food in the house has gone, there is only so much I can blame on my 2 year old daughter, lol!

Breastfeeding just makes me so hungry, my weight isn't going up (although to go down a bit further would be nice), so I think I am eating the right amount, but I feel like a pig!

I hope I can adjust to eating normally again when I stop breastfeeding!

I know how you feel! I've lost a lot of weight by breastfeeding and I'm trying to gain a little back. I have to eat a ton. If I exercise then I'm even more hungry. I'm afraid to buy new clothes because I would gain tons of weight if I eat like this when I'm not breastfeeding.

Oh my yes, I'm right there with you! LOL Because we burn 500 to 1000 calories breastfeeding our bodies are adjusting our appetite to ensure we eat enough to support this. Thankfully I'm not gaining weight either but I'm sure as heck not losing it and it's really frustrating! Ah well, just enjoy it while you can!

I totally understand!!!! Unfortunately I have to retrain myself when my baby starts to nurse less, and I usually gain a few pounds before I adjust!!!

Oh man, I know what you mean! My appetite seems to have tapered off... somewhat lol... but for the first several months I ate constantly! I think I was hungrier than when I was pregnant, honestly! I think that's why I haven't been able to lose those last few lbs of pregnancy weight, I guess since I'm BFing my body wants them as "reserves." I just hope they go away when I'm done!
