My daughter Therese will be 11 months old on the 27th of October. I had originally planned to nurse her until she turned 12 months. I nursed my first baby until she was 13. (It took some time stopping the before bed nursing) I had thought that once she started on solids she would naturally wean herself like my first baby, but this is not the case. She is very picky about what she eats. She likes only the jarred baby pastas from Earths Best. She won't eat any pasta I make for her myself. She doesn't like ANY fruit. Her general reaction is to raspberry spit out her food. She loves cheerios, pickles, vegetable soup, mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, french bread, yogurt (she will eat fruit if I sneak it in there), refried beans, and squash. I cannot get her to eat any fruit by itself, oatmeal, applesauce... So I guess my questions are: 1) Do you have any tips on slowly weaning her and 2) Do you have any tips on getting her to eat different foods? Thanks everyone :)
