So here is the thing. My son is 2 months old and about 3 days ago he did not have a bowel movement at all. I wasn't too concerned thought he would have one soon. When he did have a bowel movement it was green and he has has about 4-5 bowel movements now and they are still green. What's wrong??? Thank you to anyone who can help with our problem.

First it is very normal for a baby his age to go several days to a week between bowel movements. That's totally ok as long as it isn't hard when he does go and he isn't uncomfortable.

As far as the color green poop can be completely fine and normal, it could be a sign that perhaps he's fighting off a little virus or it could be that he's taking in too much foremilk and not enough hindmilk. Just pay attention to it over the next few days and see what happens. Like most pediatricians will say a breastfed baby poop can really be any color except red or black (meaning blood).

did he have his shots yet for being two months old? his body might be getting use to the shots they gave him. or if you bf it might be what you ate.. if he still like that i would call your doctor and see whats going on or see if he can get check out. i hope he is doing better. or did you start him on ceral? just might be getting use to some things
