I am only about 10/12 weeks pregnant and I noticed that I was leaking. I did not get to nurse with my daughter, but with my son I did. Is it just my body's hormones. I guess the question is, is it normal and should I try and get it to stop at all or just let it drip?

Yeah, it's probably your milk hasn't dried up yet (it's been several months and I still have milk). I know at some point, that it goes back to colostrum but I'm not sure when that is. But, anyway, normal and just use pads!

Oh that is really normal then!!! Your milk is probably not fully dried up yet from when he nursed. I know even like 6m after I stopped nursing my daughter if my nipples were stimulated I would lactate out of no where. It was quiet annoying as I was not pregnant nor was i breastfeeding.

Looks like regular ole milk to me. Not thicker like colostrum. I'll certainly have to get out pads if this keeps up. My son is 20 months and he self weaned at 15/16 months.

Yes, it's normal. There really is no way for it to stop.. just wear nursing pads (unless you like having wet spots on your clothes) ;)

I started leaking at 16 weeks with my first. Just keep some nursing pads handy (I kept some in my purse).

I would just use bra pads, it is normal and I know a few woman who this has happened to. How old is your son?

Did you recently stop nursing or has it been awhile? If it's been awhile, it's probably colostrum.

ETA: Forgot to mention that yes, leaking colostrum is perfectly normal!
