my 5 month old has recently(within the last 5 days) decided she no longer wants to nurse to sleep.
normally i feed her in my bed, and leave her, then move her to her crib once hubby and I are ready for bed. now she will only nurse in bed for 10 minutes then fusses for reasons i cant figure out, then i resort to rocking her with a soother in her mouth and she falls asleep then i am able to lay her in her crib and leave, this isnt too big of a deal because it hasnt taken long to get to her sleep while rocking but i wish i could figure out why she has decided she doesnt like nursing to sleep. my husband suggested she may not be feeling well (3 yr old cousin is prone to being sick (colds) at least once a month, and they came over a week ago and she was giving babe a kiss, and now 2 days ago she has a terrible cold) anyway, so my babe could be sick but i havent found any signs that warrant it.
anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be? i never thought she would grow out of nursing to sleep, this seems strange to me.
also anybody know a way i can tell my sister in law not to tell her child to give mine a kiss on the lips everytime they say goodbye? i've never understood it. " ok, its time to go say goodbye, give her a kiss, ok, give aunty a kiss. and so on and so on." is that really necessary, especially when your child is prone to being sick? i swear that kid is always sick.
lol. sorry sort of a rant, but please let me know any suggestions you may have
thank you!!!!
