Where can I find them, I would really prefer to pay 5$-20$ or less for tops and pajama sets...Motherhood has only so much to offer and their selection looks so frumpy most of the time...or better yet is there something I can do to make my old clothes nursing functional? what do you do or where do you shop for transitional clothes that can be worn after nursing?

You could buy plain fitted tanks to go under your normal clothes for a layered look to cover and then cut slits to bf. Cheaper than buying a nursing tank top. Personally I just wear my regular clothes with a nursing bra (which will be expensive for a good one!). I don't mind a bit of exposure. If I'm going to be in a tight spot, like church, I take a receiving blanket, tuck a corner under my bra strap and it covers me and baby quite well.

I wear normal shirts and wear a nursing bra and tank top underneath. I pull up my shirt and snap down the bra and tank top. The tank top keeps me covered. This is a cheap solution.

I often wear a nursing tank under my t-shirt so when I lift up the t-shirt my belly is still covered by the tank top and none of my flab is hanging out

I shop at motherwear.com. They have great deals in clearance and have sales all the time. I recently bought three tops and a bathing suit for under $80!

I am nursing twins and just wear normal clothes and bras. I find it easy enough to just lift up my shirt and slide the strap of my bra down to nurse. I do actually have a couple of nursing bras, but I don't wear them very often.

I bought and sold nearly all of my nursing bras,tops,pj's etc on ebay. You can get some real bargains for new and used items. I also found the bump bands really useful, you put them under your normal tops and makes them look longer. They are also good for covering your belly after having the baby when your b/f, so u dont have buy nursing tops. I hope this helps u

I got some great deals online at Old Navy. Also you might try craiglist.com if you don't mind used clothes.
