Amber teething necklace?

I have heard about amber teething necklaces from a few other moms. I am wandering if any of you ladies use them for your little ones, and if so, where you get them. I want to make sure I get real amber.

It seems like mere folklore to me. Interestingly enough, the only sources I can find at the moment that insist it has soothing and/or healing properties are those websites that are selling amber.

Personally, I think breastfeeding is the best soother for any teething woes out there.

BUT if someone wants to provide hard scientific fact I'd be more than happy to change my view!



yes, some hard data would be nice. they can be expensive so you do want to make sure you are getting your money's worth
