i've been nursing for 7 months now and i can loose weight for nothing! i weigh 149 right now then it's go down to 145 never went under or over those numbers i just pretty much gave up for now intill i wean my lil boy which is going to be at a year

Losing weight is solely dependent on consuming fewer calories than you burn. Breastfeeding does help many mothers lose weight- but they have to simply still be using more calories than they're taking in. If breastfeeding isn't cutting it perhaps consuming healthier whole foods and regular exercise will.

i dunno maybe talk to a nutritionist or doctor or someone about why you can't lose weight?
I'm thinking about doing the same lol :)
It's a fact apparently, that its easier to lose weight while breast feeding because its taking heaps of fat to produce the milk.
I havent really noticed that its easier to lose weight but im not making all that much effort haha

i dont think im going to loose any weight intill i wean him lol my weight hast changed since i had him idkk i know it's selfish but thats why i wanted to nurse but noww its for his heath i can loose weight the rest of my life i cant nurse him the rest of my life lmao

Yep! I was assured it was virtually impossible to gain weight while breast feeding.. well, first i lost a lot of weight pretty quickly, sorry i go by kilos.. so i was 79kg at the end of my pregnancy, (huge) then went down to about 65kg, went up to 67kg, then down to 60. I was happy at 60 so i stopped trying to lose weight and stayed how i was.. well last time i checked im up to 65kg again!

I've been breast feeding for over a year now and losing weight is very difficult!
If you want to lose weight, i'd say breast feed for longer than a year.. it has to work eventually right? lol
If you want to try and lose weight again, i'd suggest doing it now or anytime while you're still breastfeeding because breast milk is converted body fat which is why they say you can't gain weight lol
