So, my 6 month old has been getting really fussy for my letdown. She was only doing it at the last night feeding and I just assumed it was because she had been nursing all day and she usually does her last feeding like an hour after the one prior. I didn't think anything of it. Just recently she has begun to get on and off and sometimes cry during the day waiting for my milk to let down. Does anyone have any suggestions besides bringing out the pump and pumping until my milk comes? That doesn't seem very practical to me, especially in public.

If you have time for a shower, a hot shower helps with let down. If you are comfortable with it, you can also nurse in the shower, my kids loved doing that. Warm, damp washcloths on your breasts can also help if you know that she will be nursing soon. Hope these help.
