i have a 6 month old son and was recently shopping for diapers. i noticed that pampers has a baby dry and a cruiser in his size. they really dont explain the difference except that i notice that the baby dry has like 40 more diapers for the same price than the cruisers. does anyone know the difference?

We've used both the cruisers and the baby dry and I don't notice a difference with leakage or fit. The elastic and the velcro tabs aren't as wide on the baby dry, but it doesn't seem to affect perfomance for us.

I also think the Baby Dry have some sort of dye in them - if you look they are green on the inside? That is probably what gives my daughter a rash because she has semi-sensitive skin.  i miss the Pampers Swaddlers lol, so soft and they smelled good :)

I think the Cruisers have a mesh lining like the swaddlers. The baby dry gives Shelby a rash and I think it's because it doesn't have the mesh lining.

The cruisers have a different kind of covering over the diaper material, its more mesh...kind of like dry weave.  I was using the cruisers with my 2 year old but they get soaked really easily and she would get really bad diaper rash when she had never really had it before.  I've switched back to baby dry for my six month old and my 2 year old and I don't experience any issues with leaks.

I tried the baby dry and found that my daughters poop kept coming out of them.  Haven't tried cruisers yet, but I will definitely use them once she grows out of the swaddlers sizes.

Personally, I like the cruisers rather than the baby dry - Baby dry gives my daughter a rash. I switch btween Pampers Cruisers and Huggies Natural Fit

I use baby dry for now.... with the amount of diapers we go through for my 6 month old a day, and the fact that he still isn't moving around that much... the baby dry is more economical.... I used the Cruisers we used with my daughter once she was moving more since they conformed to her body better and leaked less... but again, not till she was really not going through like 10 to 12 diapers a day....

I think the cruisers have more elastic, so move with the baby better? I use the store brand, work just as well and $10-15 less per box.
