Ever since my daughter was sick with the flu a few weeks ago she refuses to eat baby food. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so what do you feed your baby. She will only eat our food which isn't always the best for her.

I second this. When we started solids w/our daughter, we skipped purees entirely and went straight to finger foods. There's no reason to fear sharing what you're eating with her.

My son is 6 months and since he has been on cednifir for a ruptured ear drum this month... his eating has been horrible. He wanted nothing to do with stage 2 food... only wanted to eat what we have. So... I gave in to stage 3 and more things like cheerios, and even some of those frut and veggie puff things from Gerber... now he eats fine again.. I tried sneaking the stage 2 stuff in this am, and he freaked!! Refused it and turned up his nose... gave him some toast with the baby food on the side and we did fine...

A couple of questions. How old is your daughter and is she drinking? What is she eating? If she is nursing or drinking forumla and having wet diapers, I would not worry about it, she'll get her appetite back. My daughter is a year old and every time she even gets a cold, she will loose her appetite for solid food and revert back to nursing only. If she wants to eat what you're eating, thats totally normal. Thats my daughter sick or well. Here is an interesting question: Who says babies have to eat "baby food"? I've never been able to get my daughter to eat it.
