so, my darling daughter is 18 months and is in the midst of cutting what seems to be like a whole mouthful of teeth! she just had her first 2 molars come through, and i can see 3 or 4 other teeth that look painfully close. her first 6, when she was 7 mos. or so, came through with minimal trouble. these on the other hand......:( anyway, my laid back, go with the flow, almost always happy little girl is suddenly screaming out of nowhere, pressing maddeningly on her cheeks or even grabbing the corners of her mouth with her fingers and pulling till it looks as if her cheeks are going to rip! she cries what seems like all the time (probably just because i'm only used to her crying if she's hurt or very, very tired) and wants to nurse on and off ALL DAY LONG. i feel so horrible for her and of course have been trying to help out with the pain as much as possible (pure clove oil directly on the gums is pretty amazing, by the way...and tylenol for sleep). but this 'bizzaro clementine', as i call her, is disturbing me...i suppose i just need to hear others' experiences to feel reassured that a.) her behavior is typical and b.) will not last forever! thanks in advance for your support, ladies!
