My daughter is 11 months old... and its 100% juice full of vitamins? I just get nervous. I do breastfeed her still every 3 hours and she eats solids but not much as I think she should. What do you all think?

Just read your comment and if you are worried about her iron levels, one, her doctor should be checking her iron I believe at 12ms and two, there are plenty of foods that you can feed her or eat yourself so she gets the iron through your breast milk.
Iron rich foods!
Lean red meats, including beef, pork and lamb.
Seafood such as Oysters, Salmon, Clams, Shrimp, Tuna, etc. (check w/her pediatrician to make sure she can have shellfish).
BEANS including kidney beans, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans and lentils.
Iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice and pasta. My 9m old loves rice and oatmeal!
Greens including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach and turn up greens.
Tofu, not something I'd try... personal opinion though.
Veggies (FRESH), including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress and brussel sprouts.
Chicken and turkey
blackstrap molases
nuts (check w/pediatrician first)
Dried fruits such as raisins, dates, prunes and apricots.

I would talk to her pediatrician. I don't give it to my son because there are soo many vitamins packed into it that it can over load her system. My mom is in the medical field and she told me not to give my 5yr old any vitamin water or anything like that due to the amount of vitamins they pack into it.
Please check w/your child's pediatrician! Like I said, I would not give it to her! Plus, she is breastfed, she is getting all her needed nutrition from your breast milk and if you are drinking this then so is she through you, you don't want to give it to her as a drink as well and really over load her.

thank you ladies. Diluting is a good idea :) Plus she doesnt drink much maybe an 1oz a day at that. She does like water :) I just figured it has a lot of Iron in it and since she lacks that from the breastfeeding.

I 'think' I'd hold off a bit only since there are so many different ingredients.... If you do give her some I'd dilute it w/ at LEAST 50% water and only 4-6 ounces (juice and water combined) a day at the most.

Don't worry about her not eating much solids. My son wasn't eating solids on a daily basis until around a year and still had many days after that he just had breastmilk. He's a happy, healthy little boy who will be 3 on the 27th. :)

fruit juice is not terrible as long as it is 100% juice, so I see no issue with it especially if she is 11 months old. It is probably better than apple juice which is what most people give their toddlers. Use your mom sense and try a little watch her for any sign of sensitivity the same as with any new food, relax and enjoy!
