I'm going to ask my Dr next week but I was just curious if anyone knows if you can safely get a tattoo while breastfeeding..

The official word from LLLI is yes: http://www.llli.org/FAQ/tattoos.html. However, you might have difficulty finding a tatoo artist who will tattoo you knowing that you're breastfeeding. And of course you want to be sure the tattoo is being done in a clean environment by a trained professional.
