Breast milk as an Antibiotic?

I heard from a friend that breast milk can help and cure anything! like, my 4 week old had an eye lash in her eye. i asked what can i do to get it out and she said to squirt breast milk in her eye and it will come out! also with stuffy cold nose, squirt some in her nose and suck it out with a bulb or if she has stuffy dry nose, do the same. she also said for cuts and what ever else, breast milk will help it. is this true, is this our miracle cure?

My daughter is 18 months and still breastfeeding despite the fact we're 4 months preggo with twins. In this last year and a half I have cured many diaper rashes the same day they occured using breastmilk, took the itchy pain of a bad viral reactionary rash away so my daughter could sleep, cured pink eye, got rid of cradle cap and dried up a runny nose! It does indeed work! It can also be used for minor cuts and scrapes and is great for minor burns/sunburns, chapped lips and exzema. Check out kellymom.com for more info on the miracles of breastmilk. I even read an article that said breastmilk could kill certain cancer cells...but I don't know for sure on that one!

yes, it's true!

there was a post in breastfeeding moms a while back about the many uses of breastmilk from diaper rash, to pink eye, to cuts and scraps, you name it!

I havent heard any of tat but my HV said its very good for there skin and eyes.. all i can suggest is try it :)
