The best breast 'shells' or pads I have found are called Lilly Padz. You can buy them online or at Mimi Maternity. They are reusable and self adhesive...easliy washable with warm water and soap. I couldn't have made it through the first 6 months of nursing without them. Still nursing at 17 months...but no longer need the leak protection!

Breast shells are invaluable if you leek off one breast whilst feeding/expressing off the other. 2 things to remember though 1) make sure you have it the right way up ! 2) Don't lean over whilst its in - or you might find out they leak.
They are a great way of saving the leaked milk, that could otherwise soak through your top (even with breast pads in), I used to save about 1oz milk sometimes. Kerry

er ... I use them while expressing milk.
I think it is such a waste to have milk leaking into the breast pads where it's lost for your baby. The ones I use are by "AVENT".
I would not want to where them all day though, as they give me a "Madonna in her JPGaulthier-bra" look ;-)
