Has anyone found that when your child was around the two's (my daughter is 20months) has suddenly taken a large interest in the breast again. Does anyone have any insight or advice?

Teresa, Heh heh, yeah, one of my twins was like that. Which is why I said "typically" because I know that's not always the case. If it were up to my other twin, he'd totally be nursing 24/7 at 4! LOL But, I put limits on both of them and it made things better.

My son is almost 3 and I'm still waiting for his interest to slow down. ;)

i found this too! my son is 19months, he was only really having a morning and before bed feed then he started wanting more in the day about the same time i joined this site and saw it seemed normal. its quite handy when hes having a fussy food day or is poorly and not eating that i dont freak out cuz hes at least having some good milk but a bit of pain now that hes not discreet, lol.
i found that when he started getting a new tooth he would want to feed more often, around 2 they get their back molars i think, maybe thats why, maybe its comforting? xx

Yeah, my twin boys were like that. They wanted to nurse all.the.time. If you're OK with it, then I wouldn't change anything. They typically slow down on their own.
If not, you can put limits. I put limits on my boys at around close to 2. I'd say "Ok when I count to 10, nah nahs are all done!" I'd distract them by keeping them busy, or getting out of the house.
