Breastfeeding and sick of cold?

I am breastfeeding, my daughter is 6 1/2 mths almost 7 and I am sick with a cold. I have the cough, mucus. I have taken tylenol sinus, honey w/ lemon for the throat but still sore throat and alot of sinus pressure. I want to take something else but not sure what. Dr. says any tylenol product is fine, but really how much is ok. i would rather take herb or something not to harm her. That is my biggest fear.

Oil of Oregano helped me quite a lot, and even though i smelled like spaghetti all the time i didn't mind because it really helped kill off the virus quickly. It's available in liquid and capsules, and it's not at all harmful to babes. You can also add ginger to your tea

Just keep hydrated, wash your hands a LOT and don't touch babe after you touch your eyes, nose or mouth and hopefully she'll be fine.

Feel better soon!

I use Olbus oil on a tissue somewhere near me or in an oil burner in the room, clears out my sinuses every time!
I just googled and you should read this before you make a decision to use it

I have used olbus oil in small amounts during pregnancy and breastfeeding but have never put it on my skin!

Good luck hope you feel better soon x
