any ideas on how to make an inverted nipple stop bleeding while breastfeeding. i have went to the dr and they keep saying its thrush but it goes away and comes back. there is a hole in it i tried lansolin and doesn't work, i do breast shields and doesn't help. should i juststop feeding on that side. plz i need help every time i breastfeed on that side my poor baby gets a ton of blood and she has a different blood type

Oh dear Mama...that sounds awful! I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. Is there a lactation consultant you can speak to? Someone who may know more than just your doctor? Can you locate a breastfeeding support group in your area? Anyone from the LLL? There has to be a breastfeeding professional who can help you succeed. If it is just one side, is there a way you can pump that one side while feeding on the other? Hang in there Mama. It will get better.
