My son is three weeks old and bottle fed. My milk came in a few days after I had him and I ignored it and let it go away. Now I am having second thoughts and wishing to breastfeed. Is there anyway I can get my milk to come back? Will he even take to it or is he too used to formula? Help!

I say go for it. If you can afford one get the best pump you can to help you out with getting your milk going.If you get some milk to come back , I would recommend pumping every 2-4 hours for a few days and then start to introduce your breast. Make sure when you latch him on that his mouth is wide open and you get as much nipple in there as you can. Remember to stay relaxed ,if you or him get too upset just stop for now and try again later. Get in contact with some one at La Leche League ( or just go to their web site ), they are an international group that help women everywhere learn to BF their babies, because that's what it is a learning process. You have to learn how to BF your baby and your baby has to learn how to BF too. It might not be easy , but if you really want to and it's important to you it could be done.Best of luck.
