There are definitely a variety of things you can take - but *anything* with a decongestant can cause your milk to dry up (that's what a decongestant does is dry up the fluids in your body). So, try to avoid decongestants, but if you have to take some make sure you are drinking tons of water to compensate. Also try:
A vaporizer in your room at night (hot water making steam)
Hot showers to loosen up mucus
Sinus massages
Tea with lemon and honey
Plenty of fluids
REST! as much as you can
I hope you feel better soon!

Yep, what Jennifer said. :) Zinc is just fine and you can also take pretty high amounts of vitamin C as well. Echinacea is also fine. Hope you feel better soon!!

Robitussin DM-the pharmacist said that you can, but to limit the effects on the baby, try to tak eit as soon as you finish feeding so that most of it is out of your system by the next feed.
You can always call your pharmacist or your ped just to make sure about any med out there.
