I'm looking for any links or suggestions of books to read about co-sleeping. I believe that co-sleeping is safe if done properly, especially since its been happening that way for thousands of years across the world. I live in Canada and would appreciate anything that was published in or for Canada. Thank You. Also, not to be rude, but if you disagree with co-sleeping, I really don't want to hear why, or be shown any statistics or anything against it... I'm only interested in Pro-Co-Sleeping. Thanks again.

The current edition of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding (like Nicole mentioned) has a good section on cosleeping.

James McKenna also has a book called Sleeping With Your Baby: a Parent's Guide to Cosleeping. He is the director of the Mother Infant Sleep Laboratory at Notre Dame.

Attending your local La Leche League meeting can help give you some insight into this subject as well- likely you'll be able to talk to and learn from other mothers who share your views. You can find a group here: http://www.llli.org/webindex.html.

thanks :) i'm trying to prove a point, and i've actually done a lot of research on it, but it just doesn't seem to be enough because most of the articles are from other countries, and most of the Canadian ones are against co-sleeping... its just frustrating being told i'm a bad mom because i've made an educated decision about something i feel is best for my son. Any other help is much appreciated!!

You could check out the womanly art of breastfeeding, it's not specifically about co-sleeping but gives an idea of how to do it safely and makes you feel like you are doing the very best for your baby.
