My daughter likes to stroke my hair. She pulls pieces of it through her fingers over and over. She also does her own hair. Sometimes she does what my husband calls "kitten kneeding" with her fingers on my breast. She likes to stick a foot up at me to play and have me nibble her fingers or toes. She also likes me to do "round and round the garden" on her belly and tickle her under the chin and make her giggle without losing her latch. Or she points to the parts of my face and wants me to name them all while she's nursing.

Tristan likes to different types of things depending on how he is bf. If we are sitting up he puts his arm over his eyes, plays with my necklaces, and rubs my boob. If we are laying down he will root until he's where he wants to lay then pulls me towards him. No matter what I love it best when he grins while trying to eat.

My little man does a lot of adorable things while feeding. He for some reason likes to smack himself in the head and pull his own hair, he strokes my breast sometimes, tugs on my necklace, hums, gets excited and start kicking and pumping his hands and feet, holds it in his mouth and looks at me and smiles and pulls on it like its a gummy worm. I find it most hilarious when he tries to stand up and feed at the same time or when he is feeding and gets distracted and when he realizes he is not on the boob anymore he looks at me, looks at my boob smiles and just dives in! He is so hilarious.

My girl used to make sounds like a goose honking- when she was just tiny-like 2 weeks, it was the funniest thing- sometimes she'd wake up my hubby in the middle of the night she was so loud. It was like she just couldn't hold back- the milk was so. darn. good.

my son also pulls of and frowns at me if i start talking or somthing or dont watch him feed lol and he will only latch on if im walking around,, one word "spoilt" lol

my son is 2 months old and the cute little things he does is gets both little hands on each side of my brast and squeases then pulls off and it squirts all over him he thinks its funny it actually realy messy and the other thing he does is stops and gives me the cutest look then bites down nd pulls back till my nipple comes out of his mouth with great struggle lol but he always keeps eye contact and some times smiles i love breastfeeding and im only 15 it brings us so much closer

My 9 month old went through a stage where everytime she was nursing she would stick her index finger in the corner of her mouth (amazingly she wouldnt lose her latch lol). Now she trys to sit up and nurse or if we are lying down she will roll away and then crawl over and try to nurse on her tummy and then laugh at herself =)

I love it when my baby smiles while she eats. Also, she has just started to stroke her head while she eats - she has just a little fuzz on her head and only touches it while she eats. She makes the cutest little sounds too like she's is having the best meal. And her eyes kind of roll back in her head. Love it all!

my 6month old girl flexs her toes, pushes my boob like a little kitten or sometimes she pushes on opposite boob and makes it leak everywhere,
or if shes being silly or some one else is around she'll giggle heaps,
oh and if shes upset or angry she talks heaps when its in her mouth.
i love it when shes really hungry or hasn't seen me for awhile she'll lunge at them, even with clothes on, its probably the best thing i do with my baby, so so much love goes into breastfeeding your baby

My 3 month old falls asleep sometimes with the nipple still in his mouth. He looks so peaceful! Also, we co-sleep so sometimes when we are going to bed, we lay down and I say "Dylan, do you want some milk?" and his eyes light up as he cracks a huge smile. He also makes adorable gulping sounds sometimes. Honestly, everything about nursing him is so adorable, I could go on and on!

My son is 4 months old tomorrow and he has the cutest habits while bf'ing. He'll stroke my chest, hold my shirt, wave his free arm around like he's driving a car, holds my finger. He also has a habit of giving me a big gummy grin and then pops off and starts chatting me up. If I'm not looking at him I'll feel like someone is staring so I'll look down and there he is grinning at me. I also love the mmmm sound he makes but the best is when he sighs and mmmmm's at the same time. He's a curious boy and has a habit of looking around while he's eating and takes my boob with him, I usually have to tell him "mommy's boobie doesn't go that way". He'll just laugh at me until I have to cover him with his blanket...lol

Kelton is 5 months old today and I've loved every minute of nursing him. His most recent funny trick is to whack me on the chest if I'm watching TV or talking to my husband instead of looking only at Kelton. Then, when he has my attention, he goes right back to eating, like nothing ever happened. He also holds my fingers or just rests his open hand on my chest. I love that. I love watching him grow, but am a little sad about when he is done nursing.

My little guy is 22 months and we are still in the "twiddling" the other nipple phase! I mostly find it cute except when I am trying to sleep or we are out in public. My favorite thing he ever did was walk up to me while I was wearing a big tshirt and pulled it over his entire head while standing up to nurse. He did that almost everyday for about a month. Cracked me up everytime. Now though he always wants to nurse when we get home and will first instruct me to "sit' in his favorite nursing chair and then try to help me get my bra off! (I have gone back to normal bras since he is older and I don't need the easy access as much anymore when we are out of the house).

As everyone else I love the cute intimate moments of smiles and eye contact, but I have to admit the toddler nursing is my favorite part of the entire experience. My oldest nursed until I was 7 months pregnant and came up some very interesting positions to get around my ever growing belly. I thought she might start up again after my son was born, but even at 19 months old she knew what she wanted...she told me that was for babies only! Even though her brother is older than she was when she weaned she still thinks they are just for him. She loves to tell me that "Nate needs your boob mom, he's crabby" LOVE IT ALL

I love it when my little girl is sleepy and she feeds and pats my boob. It always makes me think she's patting me for being a good mum. lol
And I love when she falls asleep with her little hands on either side of her face cradling the breast. So cute! :)

My 7 mon son pinches!! He grabs ahold of my boob like its a bottle and then pinches the skin around my nipple! he rolls it in his fingers like some kids find the tag of a blanket and roll it while they suck a thumb or something...but this is with my skin!! I have to keep his nails really short all the time because sometimes it HURTS!! I try to stick my finger in his fingers instead but he smacks it away and pinches with the other hand! Sometimes it's the skin of my neck too!

He also squeals too if he's really hungry and his sister or someone disturbs him or I adjust and he unlatches - like a little piggy fighting for a chance to feed!

He begs too...that 1/2 laugh 1/2 cry!

And ever since 1 week, I know he thinks he's starving when he begs and grabs my face in his little sweet hands and tries to latch onto my chin or cheek!! Then he'll squeal and beg and attack my face again and again until he gets latched on!

And I know all babies do this, but I love that sound they make when they eat. That swallow, mmmm, swallow, mmmm, swallow, mmmm. I can hear it when I'm talking to my sister in the phone and she's nursing too!! mmmm...this is sooo goood mom.....mmmmm......this feels soo good on my belly.....mmmmm

My daughter likes to kick her feet around while she's feeding, she'll also give me the biggest smiles (while still latched on), and will make an "mmmm" sound when my milk starts flowing faster. It's so cute! I love it

My boy is 4 months old and he has some cute habits, some are new.


Since about 6 weeks he will hike his top leg up over my free arm.

He takes a pacifier some but if he is not sleepy yet he will play with it, pulling it in and out of his mouth. He does this with my nipple when he is done sometimes.

At night when we are lying down he is so anxious to start eating that if the nipple gets close to his mouth he will try to latch on and if it come out because I am not lying down yet (or whatever reason) he grunts at me.

The other day he was way into eating and I laughed at something...he pulled off and stared at me with a pouty look. It was so cute that I laughed harder. That really hurt his feelings because then he started to cry, with real tears, actually sounding like "Waaaaa!"

I loved it when my son would nurse and curl his toes! , with my 2 month old now she holds on to my hand and has to stare at me...if I look at her she gives a HUGE grin and all you see is this huge amount of milk going down the edge of her and onto me :P I tell her " stop talking with your mouth open and then i it possably could her grin gets bigger!@

You can tell how different babies personalities are from listening to these responses. I can picture them all doing that. Too cute. My baby is 3 months and does the same thing as Shana's baby...with the smile. She mostly just holds her little hands together and has her eyes closed. Sooooo peaceful.

My little man has just turned one and still breastfeeding at night and love it,he likes to hold my top and sometimes will hold my breast like a bottle and squeeze it lol,he also gives me a huge smile whie still attached,bf is the most magical thing and I will be a little sad when it comes to an end.

my lauretta is 8 months old and when she nurses she will pull the nipple on the other breastand has squrted herself in the face.
She also will need the oppisate breast then shes feeding on.
Sometimes she'll even be nursing and unlatch and have little dribble of milk running down her cheek,and git this very cute smile on her face.

oh-once when my baby was only a week or two old I layed him down in bed next to his big brother who wasn't wearing a shirt and he turned his head and tried to nurse from his brother (5 yrs old at the time). he had a good sense of humor about it, just laughed and said "you won't get any milk from me!"

my Emers is 17 months and he love to play with my hair while he nurses-he even will push on my chin to force me to turn my head so he can get to my hair if its in a ponytail. I want to cut my hair really short but I'm afriad it will cause him too much anxiety:) not really, I'm more afraid that I will miss it:)

My little girl is almost 3 months and I love breastfeeding her too.

- If I take too long to feed her (according to her time frame), she looks at me and gives the cutest little pout, as if to say "Mummy, I'm hungry! Why won't you feed me?".

- Sometimes she'll try to have a conversation with me, or just wants to smile at me.

- One day I was feeding her and she went to sleep on me, so I gently woke her up and she looked up at me with this little frown on her face, as if to say "now why did you do that Mummy? I was comfortable!", and continued to frown up at me for the remainder of the feed. I had to try really hard not to laugh, she just looked so funny.

- I also love how she just rests her open hand on my chest while she feeds. Other times she'll put her hand over her face like she's trying to block out the light or something. It's cute =)

My baby is 6 months old. I love breastfeeding him. I have no problem with it.
There are a few things he does when im breastfeeding him:
He caress's my skin from my waist,
when ever he hears any voice, he lets go, stops and see's who/what it is.
He stares at me,and smiles.
Or when i have him on his tummy on top of my tummy, he starts looking for my breast, and wants to eat from their, while his still on his tummy.

My daughter is four months, she likes holding onto my fingers, and if I'm not looking at her and then I look down she'll smile and turn her head in a shy manner, then I turn my head but look at her out of the corner of my eye, she looks up at me like "HEY look at me" I look and she smiles and turns her head again, all while latched on. It's a fun and cute thing, I love it!

My baby girl is now 14mths old. In the early days she used to gesture that she wanted to feed by shaking her head back and forth in a no motion. Now she gigles and smiles when I take my breast out for her. She often does exercises with her body while attached... but she absolutely loves fondling the other nipple while feeding. It's very cute (feels annoying but I'm enjoying our time together too much to care).

My daughter, 9 months, will pull away, stare at my breast, grab for my nipple, and then after examining it for a few seconds, she'll open her mouth and nurse again. It's almost like she was nursing and thought "what is this?." So she stops to examine my nipple and when she's decided it's okay, she returns to nursing.

For the longest time my daughter would put her hand on my breast like she was holding a bottle, but now she holds my hand or necklace (too). Love it!

My little baby-diva sometimes smacks my boob. However lately she has the habit of either sticking her fingers in my mouth and holding on to my teeth & bottom lip OR she's holding on to my nose! LoL so funny...and when I say "thats mommy's nose" she cracks a huge smile and a naughty lil giggle as if she wants to say "Ha so you think mommy!

Payton has started using one hand to cover her eye and she plays peek a boo :) she also has started playing with the boob by holding it in her mouth and stretching it or smacking her lips on it and attacking it like she is starving LOL :) Shes funny sometimes.
