Decreasing milk supply

I went back to work when my daughter was 10 weeks old. She is now 15 weeks. I had hoped to breastfeed her through 6 months but have found since I returned to work, I can hardly get 6 oz. pumped a day. I've tried to feed her right when I drop her off at daycare, I stop by at lunch, and then back home and for the remainder of the evening/night. I've tried Mother's Milk tea and pumping after each feeding and pumping in the middle of the night but my supply just gets less and less. I am now supplementing with formula but fear she will be 100% dependent on formula within the week. Any suggestions? I feel like I'm letting my baby girl down!

I wish I could help! I feel that mine is decreasing also, and I stay at home. I dont know why, but the older she gets I feel like I cant keep up with her. I was told to drink LOTS of water, and that was supposed to help. I have 2 yr old twins at home too, so I have a hard time finding time to drink that much water! lol. I guess I would call la leche group or your doctor and ask them.

Try Fenugreek. I don't know where you are, but we have Vitamin Shoppes here. You can get a small bottle for $5 or a big bottle for $10. Take 3 pills 3 times a day. It will make you smell like maple syrup. You can take it & the mother's milk tea. Also eat oatmeal. I eat oatmeal twice a day. Oatmeal cookies work too. Alfalfa works too.
