Depleting milk supply at almost 6 months...

I have been breastfeeding my daughter since birth & pumping while I am at the office. I have noticed a drop in my 'output' in the past 2 weeks and was wondering if this might be a sign that my milk is drying up? My daughter is NOT starving but my ounces per pumping session are not what they used to be!

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

I'm a little over a year into BF..I seemed to produce less when she as about that age too. I had just introduced her to solids. I think your body just isn't making an overabundance like it does in the beginning. I know my nursing bras are way too big now...but we are still trucking along. I believe she's definitely getting what she needs. I used fenugreek capsules when I needed to pump because I had to leave her 4 days when she was 9 months old....it made me produce a HUGE amount while I was using it. You might look into that if you feel like pumping needs a "pick me up". You aren't drying up though, probably just stabilizing:) Good Luck!

Nope, decrease in pumping output is not an indicator of supply! In fact, it's pretty normal for it to decrease over time.
