i started going back to karate and i noticed that when i pump after class, there's less milk. i use to be very active but i know i have to limit myself. i may do an hour of cardio (by going to class) a day, if the munchkin lets me (ha ha). what is everyone else experiencing?

I don't think it should decrease your milk supply, but, if you are burning a lot more calories than you are consuming, that might. You need extra calories for breastfeeding. You could try upping your caloric intake just a little bit and see if that helps. And yes, increase your water intake too.

if your tense or still wound up it makes it harder to pump. Maybe try to relax or have a bath or shower first? Make sure to drink extra, if your exercising your usually sweating so maybe increase your water intake and make sure to take your vitamins still.
