I drink green tea almost every day, and my 17 months old has never had any problems with it. Ginger tea is one of the many things recommended to induce labor, so I used to have it very often after 38 weeks of pregnancy, if it's ok while the baby is inside it is for sure ok while BF!

Green tea I may avoid as their is high caffeine content, I personally have to avoid caffeine.

What do you mean by ginger tea? Ginger would be fine as it can be soothing to tummies and in asian cultures, Chinese for sure, mothers are not to leave the home for a month and they are to drink ginger tea everyday to help with circulation and to rewarm their blood.

However, green tea is also very good for you as it has many antioxidants but be ware of the phytoestrogens (they may mess up your hormones, some say the phytoestrogens increase their supply, but at the same time caffeine is a diuretic).
