Check out http://www.wholesomebabyfoods.com. You may find some good ideas there on types of veggies to feed. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Instead of trying to feed it to him, try putting some on his tray and allowing him to play with it - it'll be messy, but often kids enjoy the independence of exploring their foods first before eating them. And keep in mind that it can take 7-10 exposures of a new food before a child will eat that new item. Allowing them to interact with it without the pressure of eating it helps them to feel more confident and less wary about new foods.

Have fun!

oh and maybe apple and parsnip would be a good one to try, start with mostly apple then each time mix in more parsnip until there's hardly any apple in it!! i loved weaning my two girls and they'll eat 'most anything, so if i can help let me know xx

try him on the sweet veggies first eg sweet potato, carrots, parsnip, mashed up with either ebm or formula. if you can get him to try them, you can then mix in a little broccoli or cauliflower(something a bit more savoury)then the next time mix in a bit more and a bit more until, in theory, he'll take his veggies!! keep trying and don't get stressed. try and have a look at annabel karmel's baby books, i think they're great. good luck x

You're just going to have to keep offering veggies - maybe even mix it in with some of his favorite fruits. Because the fruits are naturally sweeter, babies tend to like fruits more than vegetable.
