Can breasts get sore and feel heavy if you are pregnant AND breastfeeding? Mine are heavy and a little sore but not as bad as my first pregnancy. I'm breastfeeding my 9 month old and have some symptoms of pregnancy and was just wondering if maybe this is just from nursing or if I'm pregnant again... its been like this for almost 2 weeks now. took a test, got a negative result but think it may have been too early.

give it a good while before you take a second test. breastfeeding does weird things to your period. i thought i was pregnant, but i got my period 11 days late. was due november 20th and didn't get it til november 31. i am glad i didnt have to take another p-test!

*Reply to Lupe-Monica* -I didn't get my period because I got an IUD 7 weeks after I had my son but I was still bleeding from birth.... that didn't stop until about 10 weeks after birth! But Then since I got the IUD I didn't have a period for 3 months. a day or 2 of spotting at the most is all I went through each month, then for about 3 more months it was kinda heavy, now it comes and goes... I spotted for 1 day about 3 weeks ago and had a period 2 weeks before that so I'm thinking it may have been implantation bleeding but I haven't taken another test yet and still haven't gotten a period... now I'm feeling nauseated sometimes... I've heard of so many women getting pregnant with IUDs!! they say they are the most effective birth control... I'm starting to find that hard to believe... I'm going to take a test in a little while Hubby when to get one for me.
I'll let you know what happens

I got pregnant with my 2nd while breastfeeding my 1st and my milk dried up! Wait and see if you are still negative in a week. You also might have eaten something that increased your milk production (it happens sometimes) and that might be why you are sore. Good luck and keep us posted.
