Fussiness and feeding problem

I think this might be enough for him. He is a BF baby after all, he prefers you not the bottle. My son would not even touch Breast milk if it was in the bottle, sometimes he would get 2 oz at the most, just like your baby. I would not worry about it, especially if he is sleeping all night, he will make it up during the day when you are with him

I went back to work when my daughter was six months old and she point-blank refused to take any bottle! She just waited the five to six hours til I came back home. She wasn't keen on solids at all at that stage and we hadn't started her on a sippy cup yet, so we were really worried about her. But guess what - she didn't starve herself in protest, she was fine. They just know what's good, lol.

Thanks Lyndsey hopefully next month when we start him on slids things settle down. Rebekah I will let you know if I find "the trick". Linea we use the Avent bottle the most, but we have tried the Gerber bottle that is in a triangle shape, I forget what it is called. He acts the same with both with no preference to either one.

2 out of 3 of my sons took very limitless from a bottle. One did not eat at daycare Until he could put food in his own mouth with his own fingers (about 7-8 months old). He cried all day while I was at work :(. My littlest (now only 12 months) gave my husband a terrible time while I was at work. My husband was ready for me to quit my job because he couldn't cope with a grumpy baby that refusedotr than a couple ounces of milk while I was at work. Finally, baby started bananas & applesauce, etc. then all was fine. He stopped taking a bottle from anyone but grandma at ten months in favor of food. If baby's weight is ok, don't worry about it. It will only be rough a little while longer. Some babies won't take any food from "notthemama."

My son is 3 months old and he'll only take about 2 oz from a bottle when I'm away too. I know for sure he eats more milk from me, but will only take enough to half-way satisfy him. He's not necessarily fussy, but he wakes up all freakin' night long trying to make up for the milk he missed during the time I was away. Thankfully I do not have to leave him often, but it drives me crazy. A friend of mine suggested the Tommee Tippee bottles so I got a few of those, but have not tried them yet. If you come up with a solution, let me know!

Honestly it seems that he may not like the bottle...lol I don't know which of the 20 bajillion bottle choices you are using, but since you are working I would try a different bottle. I was looked at the different bottles and was like which one looks the most like me...lol The fussiness may be that he is hungry or gassy from the bottle.
