I got my period when my daugher was 9 months, she is now 10 months and I havent had it again. Is it normal for it to not be regular?

I still have not got my period back yet and it has been 8 1/2 months. When my cycle did come back I was very regular which was unlike me because I never was previous to my second child. The only time I missed a period is when I was pregnant and it happened twice while I was still brestfeeding. That might not be the case with you though it could still be your hormones adjusting. But it never hurts to take a test just in case

Yes. Anything goes as far as periods go while breastfeeding. Of course, if you have signs of pregnancy you could take a test, but my periods have been pretty irregular since they came back.
