Has any one ever had the morning after pill whilst breastfeeding?

I recently had to take it and was told by the doctor and phamacist that it not recomended whilst breastfeeding, and that I cant breastfeed my baby for 3-5 days. I've never gone this long without breastfeeding my baby, and I always have trouble expressing milk. I can only express good amounts if he is feeding at the same time. I'm worried about loosing my milk supply.

He's almost 7 months, and has 3 meals a day. I've had to buy formala for him for the time being, but I previously had a frozen stash that took weeks for me to collect, in the freezer, but it's almost all gone. I can't wait to feed him again!

How old is your baby? My friend took it while she was breastfeeding her 2-year-old and the pharmacist didn't seem to have a problem with it after finding out how old her child was. I'm not really sure of the details though. Does he eat other foods? Are you using formula during this time?
I can't imagine going 3-5 days without breastfeeding, so I feel really bad for you and your baby, but I'm sure if you continue to pump during that time, you will continue to make milk and your supply will adjust when you go back to regular breastfeeding. Good luck!

I would just try to keep pumping and maybe try calling the Lactation consultants at the hospital you had him. See what they say, but he should be able to bring it back up if he will, just maybe pump extra to keep your supply up as much as you can. Kids get sick all the time for a few days and slow down on nursing, but I bet if you wait three he'll be fine and like I mentioned before, call those consultants and see what they might know/suggest. GOOD LUCK!!
