i had to have a tooth pulled and i have 2 get my wisdom teeth removed monday so wednesday the doctor gave me vicoden to take , now some girls told me it was ok to take pain meds they wont affect the baby , is this true cause i wont feed my son cause i have milk stored in the freezer but i get very upset when he takes a bottle

Unfortunately, pediatricians and dentists aren't really experts in breastfeeding, so I would call the Infant Risk hotline or fine someone in LLL that has Dr. Hale's book "Mother's Milk and Medications" (or something similar)
How old is baby? Vicodin is an L3 (moderately safe) and cautions to watch if baby is a newborn.

that's okay to take, but I would discuss it with your pediatrician (you can call them and they can talk to you over the phone) and explain the situation, and be sure to let your dentist know that you are breastfeeding also.
