My daughter is 13 months old and she was sleeping ok.. but we decided to try to wean her about the end of March and that lasted a couple of days. Now she doesn't want to be in her bed. Tried to even put her mattress on the floor thought she maybe didn't want to be closed in, but that didn't work. Any suggestions..besides letting her cry it out, which we will not do.

Unfortunately Bethany, that's just part of being a mother! It sucks, I know, and I wish I say it gets better but insomnia in women is quite common.

Some babies need nighttime parenting more then they need sleep. Our mothers were told 12 hours solid sleep at night and that led to a spike in SIDS. If she is content to nurse and seems happy, I would just go with it. Are you able to rest while nursing?

I am co sleeping with her but I just want to try to help her sleep good, because she is still nursing all night as well.
