Help! My newborn isn't latching!

I had twin boys on the 21st. Both were born healthy and both have maintained that status. I am currently also nursing their older brother.
I noticed that nico, one of the twins, wasn't nursing all that much today, which is unlike him. All of my kids are big eaters and can nurse happily for hours.
The twins were due feeding 2 hours ago and Mateo latched normally and started nursing but nico can't seem to latch. I know it's not supply. I don't know what to do!! My naturopath doesn't open till tomorrow AM and I don't want bottle confusion!! I need advice!

Natalie- I have this totally cooky, nuts naturopath/chiropractor! He's a freaking genius. He aligns the babies body and pushes and pulls gently. I have know idea what goes on, but all of my kids adore him! :-)

I'm glad everything turned out wonderfully for you! I'm curious, because I've never heard of it before, how does one go about readjusting a palet?

Thank you for your help and suggestion!
Nico had his palet readjusted this morning and then he had one on one time with mama in the bath while dad took care of his brothers. He nursed for almost 2 hours and then slept for 3.5!! Happy babies all around! :-)

Does he seem unwell in any way? You could contact a private lactation consultant in the meantime. Probably worth the $. You also might want to try holding nico skin to skin in a quiet and dark room away from the other kids and see if eventually he'll feed. Good luck!

If Nico has been latching just fine until now then it's probably not a tongue tie. You can express milk and cup feed or use a spoon. Either way baby will lap it up and this will avoid nipple confusion. Good luck!
