My daughter just turned 2 last week and again, for the 4th month in a row, I have a clogged duct. It seems that one week before my period I get this stupid clogged duct. Same breast, same spot...this time it actually feel like a golf ball and nothing I am doing seems to be helping. Not to mention that my entire nipple is filled with blisters from having her nurse like crazy. So, I am begining to think that it is a sign to call it quits. She only nurses about 10 mins 2x a day and she is eating like a horse, and drinking from a big girl cup like a pro...am I being selfish or is it time to cut the apron strings...

You shuld be so proud of yourself E for nursing for so long!!! You are not being selfish, you are just trying to hold onto something that has run its course. I know what a bond bf'ing is, but realize that B is getting ready to start doing new and exciting things and you can share new bonding experiences with her.

Cut the strings :) It's awesome you were able to nurse her so long, but it doesn't seem worth the trouble if it's only for 20 minutes a day.
