Hi, my daughter is 8 months old and feeding every 2 hours through the night, just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat????

Your baby doesnt need to eat that much at that age. She wakes up and realizes she doesnt have access to the boob, and she wants to so she uses you as a pacifier, mine does that too. She sucks anywhere from 1-8 hours a night before she falls asleep. 2 nights ago it was 6pm-1am NONSTOP sucking and if i take her off she screams. Then she spits up because she ate too much. Its just because she loves to nurse too much. I've been trying to find a way to break her of it but its really hard. You have to teach her to fall asleep without nursing. There are a lot of methods out there. Pick up/Put down. You could get her on the e.a.s.y schedule or try Pantley's gentle removal plan until she eventually stops waking.

Not anymore but I was. My twin boys nursed every few hours through the night. I night weaned them at close to 2
